The immorality in the election for District 2 of our San Diego City Council is a scapegoat in order to elect candidates at any cost with prejudice. This must end.
Two dark shadowy groups operating as boiler rooms under a church in City Heights have donated as unnamed individuals hundreds of thousands of dollars to defeat common citizens such as myself proposing nothing more than to serve America. The coup de gras is yet to come on June 07, election day. Adding insult to injury, these so-called adult candidates openly lie and double talk constituents with a straight face.
All of this immorality is obviously legal as it is condoned and supported by society. One group is named New San Diego and the other invisible group is named Community Voices. The perpetrators of all these shenanigans have no shame. They will win at any cost. They will bury the little guy with a smile in the American tradition. I don’t buy this philosophy. I don’t cut tangents. I don’t cheat. I’m old school in that I work hard and earn the right to serve America.
As for vision, public policy, ideas and platform, the voters are the big losers. The candidate with the best most accepted ideas almost never wins since these candidates as myself have no ammunition to reach voters. In short, the election is an outright fraud, a sham and an insult on the fundamental American principle of fair play.
San Diego must pass election reform for Council seats. Whereby, every candidate plays with an even straight deck. Finances would be limited to maybe $30,000 tops for everyone. In this scenario, we probably would not have the current makeup of the San Diego City Council. Plus, we ought to have taxpayer funded elections as in other American cities.
While I write this, I am on my knees still fighting as a man without ammunition. I’m not quitting except the voters are the biggest losers in not being fed the truth. As they say money talks and BS walks.
