My name is Dan Smiechowski and I am a candidate for San Diego City Council.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b>We don\u2019t need an illusion of safe streets; we need the reality of safe streets.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b>As a former triathlete I having logged over one million miles on San Diego roads in my car, on a bike and on foot.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b>The Diamond Street fiasco is another example of failed City Council leadership. This is just another never ending payoff to campaign donors at the expense of the taxpayer.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n Safe streets are the responsibility of everyone.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b>We all share a mutual responsibility in our quest for public safety. We are here today to show support for District 2 and San Diego.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b>I am opposed to the waste of taxpayer dollars on a fantasy ride of danger, when the streets of Pacific Beach have potholes that destroy suspension systems.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b>I want to restore sanity to the City Council and that is why I need your help to stop this folly and elect me to District 2.
